(To prevent confusion: Akihiko was born with the name "Miki". The name change is explained below.)
Anthem of a Misguided Youth - chthonic
Remix of some Legend of Zelda music. A theme for Miki's childhood as he grows up in the orphanage before being adopted by a doctor along with his best friend Shinji. The doctor begins to train them.

Miki is unable to cope during the direct aftermath of Shinji's mistake and disappearance. (Alternate song: "Nineteen" by Tegan and Sara.)

Miki finishes his training, then lands a good job as the private doctor for a very wealthy family. An upbeat song for a life that's going well.

Miki gets (romantically) involved with his employer's oldest son, even though deep down he knows it's a terrible idea. (Alternate song: "Hands Clean" by Alanis Morissette)

Miki escapes, leaving everything behind. He shaves off his beard, dyes his hair, and changes his name to Akihiko.
