Would corporations then need be considered 'Intelligent' since the only way to explain to continued use of fossil fuels is for the survival of corporate manufacturing, given the overwhelming data supporting the death or severely impacted survival of biological organisms for its continued use. Corollary, have you noticed the increase in Corporations as characters in recent films, Batman, Fantastic Four I Heart Huckabees, etc?
