question about modest mouse: would I like that music.. i just found out that 'float on' is by them and i totally dig that song. is the rest of it really hard or screamy at all?

Float On is awesome. Well, I think you might like the album "Good News for People Who love bad news." There are some kinda harshish songs on it. Some kinda crazy songs, with a little scream. But I think overall you'd like the album. We should hang out and listen to tunes. You'd love Joni Mitchell.

i have one joni mitchell album (ladies of the canyon), but i haven't listened to it all that much.. i should give her another listen...

i would love to hang and listen to music... don't you live about 5 million km from me now, though? i really want you to take me to music shows. i like your music taste (for the most part, i think).. i agree with it.

Ladies of the Canyon is a good album. Her best is Blue. Such a poet.

Yeah. Owen is good stuff. Apparently he's got a new full lenght in the works. I'm hoping for continued owen excelllence.

i'd check out American Football too. It was a band Mike was in for a bit. They only ever released an album and an EP. It is a lot like owen, but kinda bigger. And he sings in his non-pretty voice. Worth checking out.
