[Egon had ignored his drone wife's call to dinner that evening in favor of continuing his work in the garage. Over the past week or so he's been, er, "borrowing" scraps and tools from the shop. He currently sits hunched over a table, soldering a circuit board he's salvaged. It's large and very primitive but he's taking what he can get. Around him are various broken electronics that he's been using for parts.
He's still wearing his work coveralls and his hands and face are still dirty from the day's work. It's obvious that he's been working since he got home and hasn't bothered to break for anything.]
((The garage door is open so anyone passing can see him and say 'hi'. He tends to focus really hard on his work, though, so he may not notice you unless you actually walk up to him.))
