Holy crap, Dr Squidlove finished a fic. Not Buffy - sorry, my G/X peeps, I think I broke myself on the last one.
But here is Oz! It's a college AU set long before the series, so if you're adventurous, you don't need to be familiar with the show. Just know it's these two, meeting much younger:

Harvard college student Tobias Beecher is doing great: straight As, good friends, dating his future wife, making his parents proud. A chance encounter with petty criminal Chris Keller puts a spanner in the works.
Beecher/Keller, a little Beecher/Genevieve, a little random het.
College AU, Romance.

We got some sex. Some violence (disturbing by general standards, downright friendly by Oz standards). Some drugs. Some homophobia. A little m/f. No sexual violence, and everyone is 18 or older. That's everything I warn for.
