Oz/Law & Order: SVU crossover

Tobias Beecher's trying to rebuild his family in the shadow of the man he was in prison. Elliot Stabler's struggling to continue in the wake of divorce while his job eats away at his soul. It makes for an odd friendship, but it works.

Elliot will do whatever needs to be done, but talking? You ask too much!

I'm just trying to bring in some equality. Elliot was always the one who got hurt on SVU. I wanted Olivia to get a share of emergency room time.

But Elliot would rather do something easier, like fight a bear or climb a mountain.

It's Olivia's turn. Elliot was always getting shot (at least twice) or stabbed (three times, I think) or thrown through windows (twice) or off buildings (once). Maybe it's warped that I want Olivia to have her equal share of medical drama, but I do.

Oz is so easy to mainline, isn't it? Once I finally picked it up, I tunnelled through it, and I was searching for the Beecher/Keller before I was done. (And then watching faster, so I could dive into the archives without spoiler fears.) And then I found Beecher/Stabler, and then I had to mainline SVU (which takes much longer to get through...)

I have a feeling these two are going to get away and the definitive moment in their relationship will finally come to pass... Toby will either say I love you or get topped.

This is one of the most satisfying things I've read in a long time. You've done such an amazing job with the character development and story line. Every chapter gets better and better.

I've always loved the satisfaction of sprawling, slow developing epics, but have only recently got to writing them myself. So happy you're enjoying it!
