Around Thanksgiving, I re-read the last several chapters of this story, because I now associate the holiday with Holly's questionable menu choices and Toby's lack of filter as much as I do turkey and football. Then several days later, I was out Christmas shopping and I stumbled upon these gems:

You are so, so right. It is now absolute canon that the Beecher-Stabler Thanksgiving tradition will be Golden Girls games. Toby's going to bring one the next year, and then it's going to become some kind of competitive family thing to find Golden Girls games.
I think Toby might start it with Golden Girls Mad Libs.

So, I just had to look it up, and a Google Images search informs me that "Hollingsworth Manor" (Blanche's childhood home) is Boardwalk, while "Shady Pines" is Park Place. Which probably isn't what I'd have picked, but whatever. I'm sure there are people who would argue with me that Chris & Toby's Love Pod wasn't the most valuable property in Oz. ;-)

I feel like they must have really pushed it to fill that many spaces.
I feel like protective custody ought to be the Park Lane of Oz. Those were some pretty sweet digs, and no Nazis!
