I have loved this story from the start and while I look forward to the end I am saddened at the thought of no weekly Tobias/Elliott fix. Thank you for your dedication to getting your deliciously additive story out. I made an earlier comment about how I hoped that Elliott finds out how good it can be to give Tobias what he craves and I do not think you will disappoint.

Thank you so much!

I'm so glad you've enjoyed it! I'm gonna miss them, too.

I had meant to leave this comment about a month ago, but better late than never.

Around Thanksgiving, I re-read the last several chapters of this story, because I now associate the holiday with Holly's questionable menu choices and Toby's lack of filter as much as I do turkey and football. Then several days later, I was out Christmas shopping and I stumbled upon these gems:

vanillalime! YES! I want to take over your Thanksgiving forever! I want you to be sitting around in your nursing home, snorting as you think of Holly's Thanksgiving couscous.

You are so, so right. It is now absolute canon that the Beecher-Stabler Thanksgiving tradition will be Golden Girls games. Toby's going to bring one the next year, and then it's going to become some kind of competitive family thing to find Golden Girls games.

I think Toby might start it with Golden Girls Mad Libs.

I am amazed by the number of Golden Girls products available for sale after all these years!

So, I just had to look it up, and a Google Images search informs me that "Hollingsworth Manor" (Blanche's childhood home) is Boardwalk, while "Shady Pines" is Park Place. Which probably isn't what I'd have picked, but whatever. I'm sure there are people who would argue with me that Chris & Toby's Love Pod wasn't the most valuable property in Oz. ;-)

There seems to be a resurgence these last few years; it warms my heart.

I feel like they must have really pushed it to fill that many spaces.

I feel like protective custody ought to be the Park Lane of Oz. Those were some pretty sweet digs, and no Nazis!

(Or maybe Adebesi's pod under Querns...)
