I need to go with 1" gas line.

Sometimes, I don't listen to my own advice. Turn the gas off at the meter! I turned off the interior shutoff valve. Unfortunately, that was added by me when I added the second gas supply leg for the water heaters. The leg I was working on was pre-existing and its route was hidden by the spray foam.

Despite my best efforts, I'm slightly short of flooring - about 5 sqft. I had blamed material shrinkage (hey, they shorted me), but math doesn't lie. 6.75 * 7.5 > 48 sqft. With the edging I actually needed 52, plus 1 for waste. Oh well, I'm done for now ( Read more... )
