I went to the show this past Monday, and I'm sad to say that I was actually disappointed. I understand that a band is going to concentrate on their songs from the most recent album, but they didn't play ONE of my ultimate favourites. No Jo Jo's Jacket. No The Hook. No Jenny & the Ess-Dog. I have to admit, I've never been a Stephen Malkmus fan. And I feel almost blasphemous saying that, but I just don't love him. (Kind of like how I feel stupid saying I don't like Elvis Costello, when apparently I "should" love him.) Blitzen Trapper is REALLY growing on me though. I wanted to see them live in Knoxville with the Avett Brothers a couple of months ago, but the show sold out in no time. I'm glad at least half the show was good for you.

I know what you mean. There are lots of musicians that I "should" love, but I'm kinda "blah". And then there are those bands that I keep buying their albums when it has been 3 or 4 albums since I actually loved the whole album (e.g. Radiohead).
Anyway, have you ordered the new Features CD yet? I'm pretty stoked!
