that's weird, because I just saw an anchor on NBC arguing with someone from FEMA about the exact same thing - the people in the convention center being left without any food or water or anything after having been ordered there, while the superdome people get trucked out nonstop. Hopefully this kind of continual bagering by the press will get something done. It's certainly high-profile enough. Pretty disgusting that people have to get on the news and call someone to task for letting thousands of people starve, though,

ok...now...

If people in the US are being treated this way...how do you think people are being treated in Iraq? The spin seems the same. The government telling people not to believe the press. Soldiers inappropriately responding the people's pleas for help. Focus shifted from our government's responsibility to the looters ("terrorists" in Iraq's case)...which are simply a result of the situation being mishandled. The greater importance put on oil than on human lives.

What is going to come of this?
