She grits her teeth because learning to soften is just about as hard for her as it is for him to break his submissive nature.

It pleases them both when the hands on their instruments become a blur and they are separated from the real world.

His stupid wanton needs, he figures that's why she won't come near him that way, not even with a ten foot pole.

She finds his broken glasses and knows he's still blind in more ways than one.

Personally, he finds that the best way to get her attention is to swear loudly and frequently.

He wonders sometimes if he's still got a soul kicking around inside him, he wonders if it hasn't been stolen.

She only has one picture of him that she clipped from the newspaper and stuck on her headboard as a reminder.

She really feels like a fool as she frets over where he's been for the past week.

She slams the door in his face because, this time, she really is going to stay mad at him.

When he's with his siblings, those innocent children, he can't help but feel tainted.

He watches her walk away, knowing it's the right choice for her, but wishing desperately that she could just live in the moment for a change.

She looks over her shoulder at the mere shadow of him that is left.

They aren't very good at goodbyes, so they just don't exchange them.

In a moment of fancy, they decide to play hide and seek in her garage instead of talking about what's really hidden.

She doesn't want to hear her fortune, she'd rather be suprised.

He's not going to say it, but being locked in her garage makes him feel a whole lot safer than being locked in his room.

He's awful thankful for the songbook, really, just because he didn't have to pay for it.

He knows what she would never, ever do and feels embarrassed that he couldn't stick to his guns when faced with the choice.

Even if it does found terrible, she going to let him sing all he wants.

It's too sudden, she says, jerking away and leaving him to cover the bill.

She tells him that they can't stop because they never even started, for the love of god.

He glares at his fuzzy reflection and thinks that time heals all things but eyesight.

She tries to ignore the fact that he's jimmied open a window to take a shower and thinks she doesn't know about it.

He's torn between the girl who tells him he's right and the one who tells him he's wrong.
#40 - History
He has now gone down in history as the moron who succeeded in hiding behind a loveseat and didn't get caught while her father looked for his power drill.
#41 - Power
"You seen the power adapter, my iPod's gone bust."
#42 - Bother
She wonders how much longer she can be bothered to make his lunch just the way he likes it without going completely mad.
#43 - God
He's going to have to go with Nietzche on this one.
#44 - Wall
She can't stand listen to Pink Floyd anymore since he felt the need to sing The Wall for two weeks straight.
#45 - Naked
"G-g-get b-b-back in the p-p-p-pond," she stutters, droppping the clothes, "You w-w-w-w-win."
#46 - Drive
It's miracle he hasn't killed anyone yet, she thinks, as he swerves through another light.
#47 - Harm
She's being a hypocrit when she hit him with the net again, but doesn't really care.
#48 - Precious
They can't regard anything as precious, at least they could until they figured out exactly what it was that the Pretenders were singing about.
#49 - Hunger
She has just realized that he cleaned out the fridge and she's got absolutely no way to explain it.
#50 - Believe
They want to believe that they can be better people, but that's the best they can do.
It's a one sentence prompt challenge list from some comm. I had some serious discussions about the A/D ship and where that could go (as well as what fan fiction writers would do the thing in general) so I decided to give it a whirl and try to remove my bias a little.
