this may be a dumb question, but it's better safe than sorry...
i just started using birth control & i am curious to know if taking ecstasy while being on the pill could have any effects?

To sum this up:I doubt it.

The only way I could see it affecting it is by forgetting to take the pill or throwing up the pill (within 2 hours of taking the pill). Also, if you are on the combined birth control pill (estrogen and progesterone) it's a lot more forgiving than a progesterone only pill (aka. Mini Pill) if you forget one. (Not saying that you should take this risk but just that it's less likely to get pregnant on the kind with estrogen)

I also saw you just started using birth control, some doctors say wait a month, others say a week depending on what day you start the pill to be safe before you start to have sex after starting it. (Refer to your pill's information leaflet to know what your pill's rules are on that) I would also look it up online and see if there are any possible studies on it.
