does anyone have experience with taking acid while on mood stabilizing/anticonvulsant medications? i've done a bit of research, but i all i can seem to find is information on acid in combination with lithium and other tricyclic antidepressants (supposedly a very bad idea), not mood stabilizing/anticonvulsants. if anyone has any information or

i wouldn't fuck with trileptal. just smoking weed while on trileptal was absolutely awful; i imagine acid won't be much better.

i've smoked a lot of weed on trileptal & it's been fine, but that's only my personal experience....

i usually feel really high for the first hour and then kind of out of it for the next 5. it's not bad, just not the kind of high i used to get. alcohol has been the real asshole with trileptal...if i drink, i get sick as hell almost right away and then feel like shit for the next couple of days. it sucks.

SSRIs like Prozac tend to prevent LSD from doing much of anything.

Ehh, this post is so old, but maybe just for archive purposes?
I've eaten acid on combinations of Zyprexa/Seroquel (Put me to sleep, but that was probably the Seroquel, but I apparently was thrashing around and had some interesting dreams, iirc), Zyprexa/Lamictal and Zyprexa/Neurontin (Lamictal seemed to make me trip harder, Neurontin seemed to completely counteract acid ENTIRELY, like no trip. NONE.)

The biggest trip-stopper for me was Zoloft. By far. I always smoked weed on Zoloft, and got high and it was fine, but shrooms and acid were such a weird no-go. I've never been on Prozac or other SSRI's.

Please do not take acid/shrooms and Ambien together though, you will be puking and sorry for yourself. Ambien and marijuana is fun though!

The ONE trileptal pill I've ever taken sent me into a hypo-manic "rage" though, so I wouldn't know about that one. That shit's BAD.

ewww i was on trileptal for almost a year and it was the worst year ever. my doctor was like "lets just...give it time" and finally i was like "lets just...get a new doctor you fucking asshole."

holy moley, gross! i'm real sorry to hear that. i've heard "let's give it time" from doctors far too much in my life, too. haha.
