It's the whole alpha-male/machismo/posturing/caveman thing. If a guy has a sex toy (of any kind) for self-gratification, then it's obvious he's incapable of going out into the wilds of society, clubbing a woman over the head picking up a woman at a bar and have meaningless sex on a weekly basis. He should be laughed at and degraded for relying on a toy to get him off. If he has a shelfful of girl-on-girl porn, well then he's an erotica aficionado and should be lauded for displaying his collection so prominently.
