Fretting about my cats.

As some of you already know, I'm planning to head over to Ireland at the end of the summer for a few months on a working holiday visa. I've always wanted to do this, and for various reasons, this is really the best time to do so.

My main worry right now is my cats...   well, more specifically, my cat Callie.

Aw poor kitty. Thats such a tough decision.

Hmm. Who is the cat familiar with? Is there anyone who could take her for a few months and maybe you could have her sent along if you find that you'll be staying for a while.

I spent a school year away from my cat and it broke my heart, which I know isnt a heartening thing to say, but I do know how you feel. :(

If she has the tests now, those six months will be 3/4 gone by the time you get out there.
A second set of tests would be quick, and we'd be able to send her to you once you're settled, if an extended stay ended up being the best course of action.
If not, and you come back, then she gets a superduper clean bill of health.

...which still doesn't solve the fretting and missing you aspect of the issue, I know. :(
