Just got back from the first dance of Davidson TIP Term 1. Ah, the memories. Blister in the Sun, End of the World, Timewarp, etc. All the classics. It was wonderful. I had so much fun. And I think, as the night wore on, so did the kids. It took some time but they slowly got into it more and more. The staff, on the other hand, went crazy

I had rising freshmen. Though at Davidson, there are also rising 8th graders.

i didn't know you were going to be an ra. yeah, that's right, i refuse to use the official, tip-sanctioned term. i mean, honestly, rcg? rag is so much better. have fun playing ultimate though and being an authority figure!!!!

Wow! Memory flashes... I did that last summer.. make sure to spend some time far away from Davidson, or you run the risk of being totally sick of the campus come fall.

Where do they have you guys this year? We were in the sophomore apartments last year, which wasn't so bad.

Who all is there this year (staff-wise)? There were some very fun people last year.

Enjoy! The greatest advice I have to you is to get to know each kid in your group, not just the cool ones. Oh... and conspire with other RCs so that the kids in your group with crushes on kids in other groups have to go on group nights together... so amusing/awkward/familiar.

We were in Belk which was much better than sophmore apartments/Rich (no offense, just easier logistics).

Let's see. Returning staff. Residential was Calla, Caroline and Jeff. A lot of the instructional staff came back again.
