Well, I am not concerned if it is taken with permission or not. I'm just amazed by the photographs. How are you making those effects? I'm extremely interested in the process.
wonderful =) sometimes it just feels little bit strange you commenting here instead of deviantart. hehe, and you being a gallery director there, puts myself in different point of veiw you being here. nevermind my ramblings.
i used photoshop, using individual soft edged brush, varying sizes from 2-19, many layers, go by dot by one. clicl, click, and so on. then new layer behind the dots, called outerglow, apply it with a bigger brush, lower opacatity. then duplicate the outerglow layer, and put it in front of the dots, the set it as colour dodge, which will put in the feeling that its really connected to the image, ( this one i am still working on, trying more different techinques to achieve this most precisably =] )and i usually work on higher res than its there being shown, maybe 2x, sometimes 3x, becuase when i shrink it down to web resolution (72dpi) the details will stand out really good.
