Question to ADFers

Nov 02, 2011 13:17

I submitted my intention letter for the IP the other night, and I admit I'm a little excited. Now that school is on a hiatus I have more free time to clean up around the house, get back to cooking, prepare for the holidays (so much garland...) and time to read. I got back into Ted Andrews' "Animal Speak" and I forgot how much I enjoy his writing ( Read more... )

advice requested, ip, study programs

I suggest the following order:

Liturgy 1 and Liturgy Practicum 1 (journal)
General Bardic Studies 1
IE Mythology 1
IE Studies 1
Magic 1
Divination 1
Magic 2 (crossover journal with Trance 1)
Trance 1
Divination 2 (journal)
Trance 2 (journal)
IE Language 1

My reasons for this are that there is information in some of the courses that will be useful in the ones I have listed later on the list. It is good to put Lit Practicum early, so you can get in the habit of doing the work of Our Druidry at your home shrine after what I call the "Post-DP break."

Also, subscribe to the ADF-Study list. You will find it useful when you have questions!

Good luck, love!

Post-DP break, haha you got that right!

Thanks for the list, Miss. Thankfully most of Lit 1 is online articles so I can get started right away. I have two of the required readings for Practicum 1.. unless I'm getting Ceisiwr Serith's books confused (pagan prayer and pagan rit).

Yay :o) Thankfully I made it a point to not make plans for tonight so I could start reading!
