The wireless internet on campus was a little shoddy due to rain, so I opened up Photoshop and started doodling around. I didn't know what to make but I felt like making something. Running
I'm making the decision to get back into athletics, and my inert body is not happy. I always enjoyed running track, and I used to be a pretty decent hurdler back in the day. Mostly I'm just tired of looking bird-chested. Sign ups are in May, so I have about 7 months to get myself in running shape. This ties in nicely with the personal ( Read more... ) -
Making Friends
So today I asked some kids in my Philosophy class if they wanted to come over and carve pumpkins. You would've thought I asked a dog if he wanted to go on a walk, how enthusiastic they were at the idea. So yay. Just joking, I'm looking forward to Steubenville growing and possibly become a more culturally diverse place with people from all backgrounds rushing in for a new job. On Love
When we feel love for another person, we allow love to grow within us. Love is the holy water that causes any flower or tree it touches to blossom with life and to grow. We cannot be "full" of love because that would mean there is a limited capacity for the love to fill. Therefore we cannot "fill ourselves" with love or add even a tiny drop of it ( Read more... ) -

I'm very excited for this Thursday, because the owner of the local Pagan shop invited me to Witches Tea on Thursday. More or less, it's like magical show and tell, everyone brings some type of magical creation to share with everyone, be it a spell, song, or incense, and shows you how to do it. Spider
The other day I opened my blinds to let some sunlight into my bedroom and there was a decent sized spider staring me in the face. Thankfully, she was on the other side of the window. Knowing Thyself
I get it, "Know Thyself" is an awesome maxim to live by. I've heard it at least twice a week in Philosophy class and it shows up in meditations time after time. Not as a "you need to learn this" type lesson, but more of a "what have you learned" lesson ( Read more... ) -
