Before I get around to doing the various memes that gilpin25 keeps tagging me for, I want to share some pics from my recent vacation. First a little background, as this was more than just the same ol' hawaiian vacation. My parents wanted to do something special with the entire family (5 kids, three spouses and 6 grandchildren) for their 50th wedding

Oh, they're great pics! Your family look like a hoot, and it looks like a very beautiful place.

You'll get no argument from me. ;) Kauai has got to be the most beautiful island in the chain. And fortunately they have zoning laws that restrict the height of buildings to no higher than the tallest palm tree. As long as nobody discovers a 32 story tall palm tree, things ought to work out.
