LOOK AT THE LITTLE STRIPES! That is so cute. I remember when my kitten was born at the park I worked at, and she was so bittens and all black and just mewed. Those stripes are so well-defined! That's awesome.
These are my first newborns so I spend a ridiculous amount of time just watching them scrabble for the best spot while mama cat rolls her eyes and wonders how she ever got herself in this situation. It's going to be fun watching them grow up.
They are cute and I would love to keep at least one of them but my cats are kind of freaked out (or pissed, in the case of Fran) with the new ones around and I'd be asking for trouble. I'll just have to enjoy them while I have them and find loving homes for them where they can be spoiled rotten.
LOL. I haven't named her but I've been thinking of her as Tonks. Remus has been hanging out in the garage, where I've been keeping her, so it really makes perfect sense. ;)
I can't imagine how such a tiny thing could pop out five big kittens but she did and she's really taken to the whole mommy thing quite naturally.
LOL Are they Remus' werecats, or has he had a vasectomy? ;)
It's amazing how animals cope with birth, isn't it? For some reason it always seems like it must be such a traumatic thing for them, especially when they have litters, but the instincts just kick right in, and they do everything their little ones need.
Thank you very much! It's been a good day. Quiet, but that's the way I wanted it. :)
You got a pressie for Tater's birthday, didn't you?! ;) Gosh, they are so cute - those little paws, the teeny tails...baby tiger stripes...If you can arrange to have one shipped over to the UK I solemnly swear to look after it well! ;)

The mama's shell-shocked face is so cute. She must be so tired, but proud! I bet Tonks looked a bit like that. Only, you know, not feline. ;)

They are so fun to watch scrabble over each other with their little paws and tails and butts. LOL. We're talking hours of entertainment!
BTW. I was happy to hear that Tara is doing well. :)
