When choosing to make your own pie crust instead of buying the ready made ones from the store, first make sure that you own a pie pan. D'oh! Fortunately, I do have a cake pan which made a deep dish crust and actually worked better to keep the quiche mixture from flowing over the edge. Happy accident or part of the plan ( Read more... )

Oh, I have a couple of pie pans that were wedding presents that I"ve never used! Want one? ;)

Glad you found a suitable substitute! What kind of quiche did you make, and can I have some?

I'm not sure how well Quiche would ship. Candy seems to travel well. Perhaps I could just send you some of that?

I made Ham Quiche and it was very yummy...and will be tomorrow for breakfast...and dinner. LOL. Ah, the joys of being single and cooking for oneself. Anyways, the homemade crust made a big difference but I think I'll mix some swiss cheese with the monterey jack next time to add a little kick.

Erm, I've still got some leftover from Christmas that I'm trying really hard not to eat any more of! Gotta get back to working out tomorrow!

Love ham quiche, though!

Three, I think... One makes Mickey Mouse toast, though, and I'm saving it for the Tater Tots. ;)

I am so done with Christmas cookies and candy. Everything that wasn't eaten by New Years, was tossed. I re-started my exercise program yesterday too. It felt good to be back on the treadmill again reading a good book (guess which one?).

Mickey Mouse toast! How cool is that? Have you used it yet or just keeping it under wraps for the tot?
