Practice last night was very good. There were seven of us, with two new people. We are drawing near the end of the new “bolognese introductory course” dry run, and I am very pleased with what we have accomplished. I have had some great feedback, and will be able to make the next run even better.

Seriously, it's interesting to see, with this wonderful little study group we have, with all of us pulling in and from different directions, how the interfaces and overlaps come. Of course, everyone's pointing at the same Art (to go another Bruce Lee mutation-- "the Art is like a finger, pointing to the moon. Do not focus on the finger, or you miss out on all that heavenly glory.")
I spent a long time developing structures of line and form, because that's what I saw in the German stuff. Now the work ahead of me is to better understand cover and tempo (in a Germanic context of vor and nach), without losing my sense of structure.
You, like the rest of the Italianate Leftennants, did a lot of work with tempo and cover, and are now working towards integrating that with structure (line and form)... :)
