me tooooo.
i used to think of downloading music illegally as totally fine, but realizing that it was in contradiction to the possibility of artists being able to live off of their work (which i think certainly ought to be the case), i've begun to feel kind of guilty about the fact that i've probably only bought like 5 of the hundreds of albums that i have right now.
but this new trend is pretty tight. having the opportunity to pay (at least what feels like) directly to the artist makes people much more likely to give up a few bucks here and there. paying for music on those dollar-a-song programs like napster just seems ridiculous, cuz it's like "who the fuck is getting all this money, anyway?"
so this is tight.
thanks, radiohead.

i completly agree.
thanks radiohead. thanks NIN, Modona(both of which broke from their record label) Saul Williams. Seems like right now, only established artists can pull off this kind of reproduction, but in the near future we are going to be able to do this with each others creations, which I think is awesome.
