I'm feeling the need to reflect upon recent good fortune. Nothing has, or ever will come easy. But at this very moment, now that the dust is settling over recent events, I'm feeling very thankful. Brief update
Much has happened in just a few days, but I don't have time to go into it all now. But what I will say is.. I am completely and totally smitten. Christmas was the bestest ever. <3 Rebecca and I are going out to dinner with Fred and Julia tonight, followed by a movie. What we're gonna see has yet to be decided. Holy crap am I wired all of a sudden. I'm also contemplating another Mountain Dew, or cup of coffee. Then I think I'll raid the pastries down in the 6th floor break room. Mmmm.. I'm ready for the weekend, damnit. But ah well. This song puts me in an awesome mood. Not sure why. It's just such a cool, chill jazzy/bluesy instrumental. I'm in the early stages of an MMW/MSMW kick now. Hehe. I often find myself wondering how jazz goes so unappreciated these days. But I guess that stems from being raised by a jazz musician.
