Ok, so I just watched the movie SiCKO.  If you have not seen this movie, go rent it, go download it, I have it on my computer, but you all must watch this movie.  This country is ridiculous.  The last time I went to the doctor it cost my parents $90 to see the doctor, $100 for an inhaler and guess what, that inhaler only helped for about a week and ( Read more... )

Maybe not to such a degree as you, but I definitely feel you on the prescription thing... I'm having medication woes of my own. My insurance doesn't cover me for practically anything, which makes me wonder why the hell I'm (well, thankfully my mom) paying for it in the first place. So I have to find ways around the system just so I can get enough pills to not have panic attacks.

I'm very interested in seeing this movie actually... is it rentable? Where can I find it?

Yea, this totally sucks. Just imagine if we both had to actually pay for all of this stuff.... I know I would probably never see a dr unless I was really sick or actually not able to breath at all. Look up your pills somewhere and see if theres a cheaper form of them that you can get, and look at different pharmacies, and see who's the cheapest. (this is sad we have to shop around for meds)

I downloaded it off limewire. I'm sure you can rent it, but why rent when you can pirate ^_^

Yep yep I know how that goes. Unfortunately this is the generic form... and CVS in Dbo even told me it would be $6, but when I went to the one in A2 where my doctor called it in to, they told me it was $51. So now I have to try Walmart. I mean, it's rediculous. Yeah, pretty much we have to shop around so we can beat the system. It's sickening.

Hahahaha... this is true. ;D

OMG I want to see that movie soo bad, but haven't had to time to watch it! I saw the previews the other week and I was shock at one of the parts:
Lady to Bush:I work 3 jobs.
Bush: You work three jobs!? That's uniquely American. I mean that's fantastic. (but I laughed at Bush's stupidity).

But I've heard that Canadian health care can suck there too, and that's why they come here. I liked that Ron Paul in the debates pointed out that people go to India to have heart surgeries 'cuz it's cheaper than here, which is so sad. Gosh politics make me angry. Which country had the best on the list for health care?

RON PAUL. OMG. That man is a genius and I'm voting for him. For many reasons, but... ohhh man. VOTE RON PAUL. Seriously. I was thinking Obama until I heard this man speak. He will CHANGE. YOUR. LIFE. Haha sorry... I saw Ron Paul in your comment and was like OMG! When Florian first told me about him I was like great, just another politician, I'd rather vote for Obama. Then I saw him on TV. I was like OHHHHHHHH. XD lol

hahaha Ron Paul is awesome. Do people (students)at your school bring Ron Paul signs, wear Ron Paul shirts, and have bumper stickers like my school does? My brother keeps sending me videos on Ron Paul. What he has to say reminds me of my very liberal multi culti prof. would tell us in class. My brother said Ron Paul's banned on myspace, like if you post a bullitin about him, it will get deleted. Idk how true that is though.

I love Obama and Ron Paul. If only they could go back to the olden days when people picked opposite parties for their running mates, lol. I love how Ron Paul gets all passionate and starts yelling haha. My brother said that Obama is the better speaker, but he also likes Ron Paul's ideas.
