Tonight work went really well. Then some assclown teenage girls came in at the last minute. Something told me they would try to steal some booze. So I watched as one girl kept staring down the liquor aisle. I commented to Dave that they would be pretty fucking stupid to try and steal some booze just before closing. We laughed about how stupid that

That SUCKS! I'd be super pissed too. Your store doesn't have cameras? All of ours do. Good ting too, cause a month ago we caught a liquor vendor rolling away with all his competitor's merchandise while leaving his own (which the store was supposed to receive anyway). It was quite a scandal, and I remember listening to some serious phone conversations between the wine buyer and his rep from the company of the thief.

Feel better. Teenagers always manage to find a way around the rules. I could tell you more stories, but I won't.

We have cameras, but only in the liquor aisle. So they grab a bottle, walk a couple aisles over and then hide it. The boss says next time, if they are underage, stop them before they get down the aisle and ask for I.D.

More than anything, I was just mad at myself for not doing more to stop them. Now I'm paying for it with a massive hangover!!
