It may be small, but I of course like it.

Bloodcarvers and Jims! Fun stuff. Full-form mythic creatures are always good. Gotta love stuff like anatomy and size differences and things. It's also fun seeing Jim's mane and Bloodcarver before his ears got broke.

Also, Tim and Abby are definitely adorable. Great designs, fer shure. AND I TOTALLY LOVE THOSE BIRD LEGS. Abby's got great legs, haha.

I think Bloodcarver has turned out to be a pretty nifty character considering that he started out life as a "Ringo Starr as a dragon! Hurrr hurr!" character. Also that the name "Bloodcarver" is the name of an obscure Star Wars species that I thought was cool. Shh don't tell anybody.

They' just called "Bloodcarvers". They've got double joints in their arms and legs and are called Bloodcarvers because the make sculptures out of trees with blood-red wood. I thought they were keen. I only know this because I have the "Star Wars: Essential Guide to Species", which is awesome and I love it.

Ah, mono. You have my sympathies and oddly enough we learned about it today in summer school. (My God, I hate taking summer school with incoming freshmen.)

I think that's cool how you used a tiger for Bloodcarver's anatomy. Way to be creative!

Tazmanian tigers aren't really tigers. They're extinct marsupials from Tazmania that look a bit like wolves with striped butts. They have kind of a quirky-looking back-end that I was trying to get with Bloodcarver, but seeing as I didnt have any reference when I drew this one I probably didn't catch it right. I love them.

Okay, now that I've gone back and read ALL the words in your post, I do know what animal you're talking about. I skip over words a lot. Also, I absolutely love your icon. "I'm Down" at Shea Stadium is my favorite Beatles clip ever.

I'm such a god damn slow ass at replying to sketchjournals. What the fuck.

Kory has mono, hahaha.

I love Richard's full form (and his midform, but whatever). I know I'm all "WHOO PAUL, YEAH JOHN L." but design-wise Richard is probably my favourite. I used to be so into dragons and crap- all of my character turned into dragons or had dragon blood or dragonblahblahblah. Clearly I grew out of that, but my knee-jerk reaction is still "OMG HE TURNS INTO A DRAGON THAT IS SO COOL." Plus I love fullform maned gryphons. They look so bitchin'.

I also love how you draw bird legs. Freakin' win, ladies. And mohawk + horns = yes. Dammit, Tim is the greatest. George of the Jerk Lads gets really drunk and tries to peer pressure him into impersonating Tim the wizard from Monty Python and the Holy Grail whateverwhatever.

Abby and Tim are adorable together. The bird legs are great.

I like that you decided Bloodcarver wasn't too horribly big. I never understood how a dragon the size of a mountain could hide anywhere.

Jim is awesome. I like his full-form. For some reason, his beak reminds me of a toucan's.
