(no subject)
Only one drawing here this time folks, but it decides the fate of a young man named Jim and his dubious clothing choices.
Okay so for the next arc of Skin Deep I've decided to take pity on poor Jim and change his clothes around. Only problem is I've drawn him in the same outfit since basically I created him. His clothes are as much a part of him as the rest of him. So coming up with a new outfit is being kind of a bastard. I flipped open my Rolling Stones Photography book and dug through my Rock and Roll Musicians folder and came up with a few ideas and doodled him in them. Then slapped some colors on. Jim doesnt get outfit changes often because he is HARD to color coordinate.
Here's what I doodled.
I'm leaning towards number 4 and number 2. I stole both from preexisting outfits, ya'll get points if you can identify where. None of them grab at me terribly, though. The Ian Anderson (number 6) looks a lot better if he's human, which he won't be during this arc. I've also decided to lose the wings for this arc, seeing as he's in the LA the whole time and won't be flying. I would imagine wings to be terribly cumbersome when not playing a practical function. I also let his hair down. The more I look at this the more I think I like number 2. The reds and browns don't make him look too much like a giant fruitcake.
