Hey everybody! I'm making more of an effort to make public Sketchjournal entries! Everybody wins!

I was digging through my Old Art folder today and decided to make another Old Art post (I recently took a couple of Old Art posts out from under the Friends Lock as well. Some of the drawings are doubled, but I don't mind if you don't mind). I know I ( Read more... )

This could only really be described as "The Good Old Days."

Oh mannnnnnnn. Kory, this entire post is GOLDEN. Seriously, the ancient Greg and ancient Tobias drawings are the best, okay. THE. BEST.

I think my favourite thing about this post is that a lot of the old Los Paranoias and Grim Brothers art is what you had on your gallery when I started talking to you, and it was that art that made me go "OH MAN THIS GIRL IS ENTIRELY TOO COOL FOR ME TO BE CHATTING WITH AHH I AM SO INTIMIDATED BY HER AWESOMNESS."

NO WAIT, my most favourite thing is that the Los Paranoias dress entirely in Beatles outfits and I can identify them ALL because WE ARE BOTH THE BIGGEST BEATLE NERDS I KNOW. Oh man, Jon, your Magical Mystery Tour outfit is the absolute best thing I've ever seen.

Also: old Mezi/Michelle's little dress thing. How great? So great.

Jesus GOD you've improved. I love when artists post stuff like this. It's such wonderful proof that people aren't born clutching a pen/paintbrush and creating masterpieces. It takes work and practice and it's achievable. (When I was 16 my life also revolved around Sailor Moon. I still have Sailor Moon sheets, which used to be on my bed and now I use at the beach for a sand blanket.)
