I can't stand country "music" tejano, or rap, but I put up with it sometimes when I hang out with people that do. I am not a racist, although I have been called one for saying that I hate tejano and rap. But hey, country music is white people music and I hate that too. Not all of it though. I like stuff like old folk country sometimes. I don't even hate all rap. I like 2 rap songs, and
what mike does cause I think it's fuckin' original. I don't think I would hate country so much if it wasn't for my dad's side of the family. They are all white-trash, that live in trailer parks, and have nasty "yards" that consist of mostly junk.
i.e: dishwashers, bikes, tires....you get it. They mostly all have mullets. They all smoke, and get drunk regularly. Some people think it's funny, but if you tried to live with them for a week, you wouldn't think it was so funny anymore. You would probably consider suicide as a welcome alternative to spending one more day there. They listen to country music, and country music only. Country music, country music, and country fucking music. All day everyday, there's a radio somewhere cranking out some white trash bullshit. I could swear there's only like four songs. That's why I hate it. Country music brings the smell of drunks, cigarette stained ceilings, hotter-than-hell-cause-there's-no-AC trailers, and smelly unshowered teenage boys to my mind. When I think of country music I think: Leathery skin, sagging boobs, smelly breath, dirty clothes, trashy trailers, junk cluttered yards, empty beer bottles, fucking mullets for god's sake. Mullets alone are enought to make me hate it. I like to play music, but the way things are looking, I probably won't ever be able to make music that will go anywhere. I never have enough time anymore to try and sit down and make anything.
