There were... a couple of accidents... during the invasion Dou-kun got hurt, then during the winter festival Wata-kun fell through the ice on a frozen lake and Dou-kun had to save him... I was there for it...

And recently, during that hit list mess... Dou-kun was attacked. He got stabbed and almost died...

I guess... they've been trying to work their way to a more-than-friends relationship for a while, but Wata-kun couldn't make up his mind exactly, and was having nightmares. After Dou-kun got hurt again, he said he wanted to be on his own... while Dou-kun was in the hospital. He didn't visit him at all after that. I don't think they've seen each other since then. And Dou-kun came to live with us after he was well enough to be released...
