I have been craving an MMO lately, and also a vastly detailed space game. Basically, I want to play Eve Online minus the fact that Eve sucks horribly. ARGH. I have a few single player space games, Independence War 2, and one I took a chance on at Target called Darkstar One. I-War is buggy and formulaic and I played through it a long time ago. If you don't mind browser-based games I can recommend Billy Vs. SNAKEMAN, created by a certain former leader of a certain anime club. The basic game is based on Naruto but it's been branching out into other areas too. I'm running a village of ninjas there; look for Gaussian Village.

As irony would have it, I have actually found a guild that I fit with in Guild Wars and have been having a great time of not just playing but playing with others as well. About four or five of us are on a time and there are roughly thirteen people in the guild. The group is a very casual collection of players, guys (and a few rarely seen girls) who are very good at the game but enjoy life and things outside the game as well (i.e. there are no FoW run days but if you want to set up something on a certain day it may work out if the guys are free; at least two of us are doing the Mallyx the Unyielding quests on Saturday). The group encourages solo play in normal and hard mode but, always with the but, will help when they can and that is very often ( ... )

Yea I'd love to play GW again, even when I do find great people though due to my work schedule I'm usually not on at the same times as everyone else...but I'll give this a try, let me know who to contact for an invite.

Well, unfortunately the guy you have to contact is a complete prick and has been known to mock people for having absolutely retarded character names (Wsh Ur Gf Hot Lk Me)...me! I will send you an invite as soon as I log on. The rest of the guys, all of them actually, are intelligent and capable of mature discussion but the guild is a place to relax so you will see a great deal of name calling and other forms of fraternal joviality.

Sounds like something I'd fit into. Thanks!
