[Public] Second Shot

Oi! I want a bigger part next time!

It's always the loyal pet, or the wise cracking bird, or a singing forest robin...I'm sick a this! Why can't I ever play the part of some handsome prince or some kinda crap like that?!

I need a drink.

Is it a crime to long for a better life?

Perhaps if it only leads to disappointment at every turn.

A few centuries ago, all actors in plays were male. Including the roles of female characters.

A history lesson is the last thing I need.

Is the present preferable to the past? A hundred years ago, you may have played the part of the dashing prince!

I'd rather be the cracker eating parrot than kiss a guy!

Possibly you look the part of the wise-cracking bird more than the handsome prince?

There's more to acting than just looks.

But nonetheless, handsome princes should generally be handsome, don't you think?

Which is why I should be a prince.

Ah, what would you know, spikey.

Well, maybe that's why I didn't choose the stage?

I think you lack in the entire 'prince charming' department.

Trust me, I didn't want the stage either.

Again, shows what you know.
