So yesterday around 9:00pm we notice Onyx limping pretty badly. He does appear to have any external cuts or scrapes, there's no swelling or heat from inflammation evident, but he's barely putting any weight on the leg. So, for hallowe'en Steel went as FrankenHorse with the stitches in his nose, Jool went as a bale of hay with more hay in her mane than in her mouth, Penny went as mental patient (she's in heat), and Jordan, the 11 year old gelding went as a stallion. Last night at about 7:00 pm I got a call from the farm. When I answered Vickie sounded pretty worried and asked if I could come out to the farm because she might have to take Steel, the 2 year old gelding, to Marquette.
