yesterday i met with the big guy (the suit from the larger company - Blueprint - which took eMedia over)...he was really nice and just spoke to me about the changes that were going to be happening and he wanted to make sure I was doing alright. He also happened to mention that he really wants to pay me for the work I do for eMedia

Oddly enough, sex is the last thing I've got on my mind...you'll be the second person to know if anything happens though ;-)

And, they wouldn't be willing to do it on the DL, but they talked to me again today about paying me, and they got their financial person involved and she said she'd see what she could do. Money would be fabulous! And it would enable me to get out and do WAY more and ultimately have more fun (and not be broke)

Oh, and the people who own the hostel also want me to design them a web site...but that WOULD be under the table $$$!!!! So at least there's that.

"even WITH the american dollar being stronger" hahaha this made me laugh. people around me can't book trips to the USA fast enought at the moment because of the ridiculous weak dollar :) but, i'm glad to see you're enjoying your stay in NZ !!

New Zealand is one of the last places on earth that has a weaker dollar than the American dollar...that was PARTIALLY (very partially) why I chose NZ.
