Two Can Waltz: A Victor/Nico/Lillie FST
In the theme post, someone mentioned that there should be a Joss Whedon inspired FST. Well, here we go: a Whedon inspired FST.

Things...are going roughly between Victor and Nico. It's not very evident, but here and there, they argue, disagree, but over all the clash isn't too bad...right?

Lillie wants to show Victor what she does best, and they fly up into the sky on a seemingly inaudible melody.

They're high above the bustle of old New York, without a care in the world, enjoying their dance.
7. "Elephant Love Medley" - Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor

Nicole:
Love makes us act like we are fools
Throw our lives away
For one happy day
And the dance continues, even they know in the back of their heads that what they have will never work out. Coming from different eras can do that to a couple. They only have one day it seems, as a battle below grows and intensifies.

It kinda wasn't quite what I'd hoped for, you know..."
And pulling away she stands up slow

She just drifted away from me
So much for gravity..
And Lillie has decided. She can't come back to the present day with Victor, no matter how much she wants to, how much her wants her too. It's too impossible of an idea for her, too scary of a thought.

And so, she's gone from his life, and he's distraught at losing her.

And what about Nico? Can he go back to her? Despite their bickering, despite his fleeting affair with Lillie?

Why did she just let him go? Her reasoning is that she wanted to be in charge of what happened from then on in her love life, but no matter what Nico seems to do, she just ends up hurting herself or someone else. What's a girl to do?

Will any of them reconnect with the one they lost?
