This is the last one for me this con. Damn descriptions are hard!
Firefly: Out of the Ashes
Description:
People were dying, so horribly weak
They came and they helped feed our children
We were saved yet their fight just started
And the doomed Kobayashi-maru, ah, so doomed
The crew so bold, the captain so bloody
Away they flew to the stars and danger too
For those what don't share came after
And the doomed Kobayashi-maru, ah, so doomed
A star appeared, then down they fell
No one found them so no one's quite sure
But we all so fondly hope and pray
For the crew of the Kobayashi-maru.
The crew is not what it once was; some are scattered, some are wounded, and one will never rise again. Yet for all that, the surviving crew find an old friend to join them on a new venture. A wealthy, brilliant, and reclusive client is waiting impatiently. She needs your help, and will pay you a fantastic sum if you are successful. Her mission requires not only courage and daring but a very large amount of faith.
This is a serial game started at last year's ACUS. I have 4, maybe 5 returning players, so 2-3 new player spots are open. Characters are created before the con using my diceless Firefly system.
