Wow, that really gives an idea of the size of this disaster... it must have been a terrifying experience.

Thankfully, we didn't go through it. We evacuated to Georgia, out of harm's way.

The local TV station aired a special on Katrina. All I can say is that I'm glad we didn't stay.
