There was a 6.0 earthquake in the Gulf of Mexico this morning.

The news said it was approx 250 miles off the coast. That's really odd. Wasn't the "new oil discovery" also 250 miles off the coast?

Notice it was felt in Atlanta and even parts of North Carolina too...

Yeah CNN stated that it was felt all the way to North Carolina and I checked the Earthquake USGS map and it had reports in from the Atlanta area.
