Fuck Pittsburgh! And Fuck Michel Therrien You Whiny Bitch!
Okay… this post will be about a number of things….. short rant on hockey…. game 5 between Pittsburgh and Detroit was insane…… also…. I made an awesome driving CD….. also random things. This post is rated G by the Motion Picture Association of America.
So…. we shall start with hockey. Okay… it was a good game…. just left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Pittsburgh started out good…. strong first period, up 2-0. Detroit came out in the second and played them even, scored to make it 2-1. Third period was utter utter domination by Detroit.
Detroit Poc-chur scored on the power-play to even it at 2-2. A short while late Rafalski put them up 3-2. The fans were chanting…. We Want The Cup…. and it looked like Detroit had it. Pittsburgh didn’t get their first shot in the third period until like 12 minutes into the period. It was such unbelievable domination. Detroit outshot them 14-2 until the very last minute of the third period. Pittsburgh pulled their goalie and got some pressure and fucking scored with 30 second left in the game. It was all….. OMG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Overtime. Well…. Detroit picked up where they left off…. complete massacre of Pittsburgh….throwing shot after shot at the adorable Marc-Andre Fleury. But Fleury stood on his head and was amazing. Also…. the referees made one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen in an overtime…. calling Zetterberg for goalie interference for driving the net and slightly bumpinb Fleury with his skate…. completely incidental contact. All of the announcers were going nuts on what a bad call it was….. that’s a bad sign for the ref. Detroit killed it off. But it meant Detroit was owed a call later in the overtime. Side note….. Petr Sykora skated by Pierre McGuire the analyst who has a little box between the two benches… and Petr called his shot and said he would score the overtime goal.
Second overtime…. more of the same, but Pittsburgh found some life and played a little better, but Detroit was still the better team. This was a more defensive period for both, both teams had chances, but Fleury continued to rob Detroit. And wait…. we have a penalty…. oh wait it’s on Detroit for goalie interference again. Fuck Fuck. Now Cleary sits in the box for another terrible call on driving the net and being pushed into the goalie. Seriously…. horrible calls giving Pittsburgh a second power play in overtime. Detroit killed it off again and was now owed two fucking calls. They got one of them on a weak hooking penalty called on Pittsburgh… and were unable to capitalize. Yeah… still no goals.
Triple overtime…. about 10 minutes in Detroit gets called for another fucking penalty…. this legitimate as a high stick that drew blood, though I’ve seen it let go in overtime, especially in a Stanley Cup Finals. 4 minute double minor power play for Pittsburgh. Yeah….. Petr Sykora scores on the powerplay…. fuck him and the refs.
Still… it was an intense amazing game to watch, but for like the forevereth time of me watching the Red Wings…. they fail at overtime.
Okay… so also…. my new driving CD is made of awesome. It’s all over the place and so awesome for driving. I’m listening to it now…. it’s a great mix of stuff I love.

Also… last night was awesome. I made myself a nice meal of bread, cheese and sausage…. felt all Wisconsin and stuff….. had a nice 24 oz. bottle of my brother’s beer…. O’diesel’s Heavy Fuel…. and then I watched American President because I’m a sucker for romantic dramas. And I was almost manly there for a minute. But my brother’s beer is really good…. a real nice light summer ale.
Also…. I’ve been trying to figure out what games to play…. kinda want to start up all the .hack stuff I have…. but decided I was going to download the anime that came before it technically and give that a shot before I start the games. Didn’t feel like anymore Castlevania. Didn’t feel like Diablo. So I started up Sacred again…. I got really bored with my last character because he was a boring character. He was traps or combat abilities like do extra damage. All melee and no fun stuff because his traps sucked hardcore. So this time I’m the Vampiress….. I thought she’s be very different…. and then actually getting to play around with her skills…. yeah I made her into a melee bitch doing extra damage as he main attack. She is a night that can turn into a vampire on command, lasting length depending on my points into the ability. But…. what makes he a little more fun…. summoning minions…. I have a doom woofie that kills all life…. I’m level 42, my woofie is lvl 92. It can be killed when it gets gang raped or when it runs into one of the 9 dragons in the game. Also…. she summons bats…. up to 9 of them… so I have all of these minions running around and doing shit…. it’s really cool. I can also raise the dead and make vamipres that have a chance of turning their victims into vampires, but they only live while I’m a vampire, so when I get my vampire length real long, I might play around with raising the dead too. My biggest conflict with her is that she gets stuff that extends night…. because at night she gets stronger, her vampire form lasts double length, and she’s not taking damage from the sun in her vampire form. Night is very good for her. Except…. night shrinks your light/ exploration radius, so you explore a much smaller area…. which sucks for compulsive map completionist me. Still…. it’s a fun game and I’m enjoying it.
So tonight….. Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals in Pittsburgh…. I want the goddamned cup. Tomorrow….. Soccer Tournament Wrap-Up Meeting…. which means lots of drinks.
