Today Is The 19th Day of Not Having My Computer..... Fuck Everything.... It Is My Personal Mantra

So yeah… the latest drama in the story of me trying to move from Massachusetts to California. I mean…. I thought it was over…. I really foolishly…. stupidly though that no more shit could go wrong with the logistics of moving. Oh how wrong I was.
So…. Monday my package from my mother with the power cord arrives as expected. All is in order. My life is back to normal, I shall have my computer. I get home that night…. get distracted by watching the Angels cream the Yankees…. eventually go and set up my computer. It turns on….. and oh shit…. what is this black screen… and this message….. “reboot and select proper boot device.” Uhm…. shit. My limited computer knowledge is not equipped to handle this. I don’t know entirely what this means has gone wrong….. and after the complete shutdown of my PS2…. I’m terrified of screwing up another machine….. but I tried to see if I could figure out if anything was obviously out of place or if there was any way to get around this message and get on my computer…. but I was tired… had a lot of homework… and was close to a complete breakdown….. I was seconds from breaking out in tears….. because….. with all I have on that machine… if I lose all of it…. just…. there will be so much crying and weeping. And I’ve had enough weeping from this weekend and Tom Brady’s season-ending injury 8 goddamn minutes into the fucking season. I do not need more reason to cry like a little girl.
So yeah… that’s what awaits me tonight when I get home… besides infinite amounts of reading to do for class… and writing papers for class….. a desperate attempt to try and get my compy back to functioning. And it will involve desperation and probably much frustration.
So to blab about other things…. like sports…. Federer found top form again….. won the US Open. Serena also had an awesome tournament and captured both the number 1 ranking in women’s tennis and the US Open… go her. In baseball… Red Sox are amking the palyoffs…. only 1.5 out of the division when it looked like Tampa was running away with it… and they have a 6 game lead on Minnesota for the wild card….. so good things for them.
Finally…. in football…. yeah…. the Patriots’ entire season was ended just 8 minutes into the season. Yeah…. Tom Brady got taken out on what is a legal…. but low and shitty tackle that should be made illegal in my opinion. On the ground and diving into the QB’s legs as he’s planting to throw is simply asking for career ending injury… and it has produced that multiple times. Like one can’t go for the QB’s head…. one shouldn’t be going for the QB’s legs like that if he’s not running…. it’s simply too dangerous.
But for the fun stat….. Cassel, the starting QB for NE next week…. has no started a football game since 1999 in high school. That’s right… the last time this guy started a game was in high school… he was a backup all through college and never started a game and has been a backup his entire pro career and never started a game. Just…. fuck no. That is not good. Luckily Patriots fans have the Red Sox to keep them from all suiciding right now.
Though the real funny part…. what most people are suiciding over is fantasy football. I mean… these people put serious money up… and less than 8 minutes into the season they’ve lost everything for the entire year. Their whole fantasy team is done just on one injury….. it’s amusing. At least for Pats fans… the team could recover… and still could make the playoffs. So we have something going…. but revenge on the loss last year that stung so much because it just should not have happened with how damn good our team was….. yeah… it ain’t gonna be avenged. We’ll have to wait until 2009 for that.
So yeah… sadness…. no compy…. no PS2…. can’t play my PS2 or PS games without an adapter for a memory card…. no Tom Brady…… it’s all bad. I’ve just gotta look on the bright side that hockey will start soon….. then all will be good…. the Red Wings are gonna kick so much ass this year.
