The irritating-ness of Mystery Shopping...

 I am hovering on the brink of dropping one of the companies I'm signed up with for mystery shopping.  I contemplated saying who, and what, but I think my agreement says that I shouldn't, at least not so publicly.  I won't drop them because I'm realtively sure I did get one good shop from them.  But, what they've got the most of, I can't do.  So ( Read more... )

Ah, wow, that's pretty annoying :P I dunno, that stuff sounds kind of scammy to me, but then again I've never done it before so I could be wrong.

Part of it is that the phrase "mystery shopping" is heavily used by the advertisers who are responsible for so much of the spam. Those ads that say you'll be a mystery shopper, and they're going to give you a $500 credit card? You're going to have to sign up for a bunch of stuff before you get that card ( ... )
