I was confused in that little "amendment". Since when was it legal anyway?! What are they trying to outlaw? I don't get it... I voted absentee (fuck standing in line) and some issues weren't on there that I thought should be, at least that one was.

well, it is blatant minority discrimination and it completely misses the point of the constitution as a whole. the constitution is not there to take rights away from a bloc of people. it's there to guarantee rights to everyone, and to protect the minority from the majority. why are the people who claim that their job is to "protect the constitution" always the ones who don't even understand it?
