It's true, the majority of time spent in high school is a complete and utter waste. This is the first time I am actually learning something new every day. Even if I didn't want to be a cop, I'd still be learning about the constitution and our rights, ect. Most of all, the stuff I am learning is INTERESTING. Yeah, I didn't mean my last sentance, I meant to say that College gives yo uthe fundamental structure you need to do a job. Such as, if you want to become a game programmer, you need certain fundamental skills that you learn in college such as C++ coding and environment studies. You can't learn these things profficiently just by going to the workplace. And yes, I think you can learn how to build a car in college. There is a specific way thigns are done in the world and in certain sequences. These sequences have been worked upon for many years, and without schooling we wouldn't have those improved upon methods passed down. While high school is the way the 'system' chooses what kind of person you will be, college is what gives you the outlet to figure out what you want to do ( ... )
