You know, I've always loved reading and usually explain it by telling people I love the worlds that writers can transport me to. For me, television and movies have never been able to quite capture the my imagination. People don't usually understand my love of writing and how the written word can bring something to life for me that television never ( Read more... )

I've cried to more than a few books, I'll admit it! Also quite a lot of movies.

Never TV though. Guess I don't watch that kind of TV. Also, I've only cried to maybe three video games. One of them was the first Kingdom Hearts. (What, it had a pretty ending!) Then, of course, Chrono Trigger, where at the end Robo cries. The other I can't remember - Playstation or N64 game; maybe the first Lunar? Oh, and maybe FFIX too. That game was kind of a downer ( ... )

Well I haven't played very many rpgs which I believe tend to have the best stories so I don't THINK I've cried, but it is completely within the realm of possibility. Hehe ( ... )

Oops one other thing. For fantasy books, I don't need authors to DESCRIBE to me every aspect of their world, but rather to show it to me through the characters, the plot, etc. For me, that's the mark of a good writer.
