Together and Apart
F/K, NC-17, 321 words

Fraser had never known that anything could feel like this. The drenched, overwhelming feeling of being within and around someone. The feeling of coming apart, piece by piece. He'd spent his whole life trying to stay together, building himself up into this fortress, and all it took was this to break it down. Ray.

Ray's head was thrown back, his blond hair slick with sweat at his temples. His eyes were closed and he was moaning. "Fraser," he said softly, pushing back against Fraser's slow, measured slide into Ray's body. "Please."

Fraser was helpless against Ray's pleas. The warmth - the overwhelming clasp of Ray's body was more than he could be expected to manage, and he pushed forward helplessly into Ray's pliant body, wrenching a cry from his throat.

"Ray," he said desperately, and he could feel Ray, hard and hot against Fraser's stomach, Ray's heels digging almost painfully into the backs of his thighs.

Ray opened his eyes, his pupils blown. "Fuck," he gasped, and Fraser felt it on the inside and the outside when Ray let go and came, his hips bucking. He cried out and tore at the damp, white sheets with his hands.

There was no way to be whole again after this, no way to stay on solid ground, even if he wanted to. It was strange to discover that, after all this time of trying to be safe that he'd gladly take the leap off the cliff, if this was what was on the other side.

Ray's arms came up lethargically around Fraser's neck several moments later, after he recovered, and Ray was smiling, like he had a secret that he wasn't sharing. "Come on, Fraser," Ray whispered, "give it up." Fraser wanted to. He wanted so damn much, and it was all spread out in front of him. It was his to take. Ray was his to take.

And so he did.
