Thank you! The self-insertion was a mix of fun to write and nerve-wracking. I loved basing the story on actual events and places, definitely, but when it came to adding myself in... guess I prefer being behind the scenes :)

Very much enjoyed your story, love reading about the normal side of life. And all the little touches; the arm across the shoulders, the looks, the hand on the knee, the kisses - much sexier (to me) than fics that try for anatomy lessons. Great description, solid and believable dialogue - makes for a wonderful story.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments! I rarely write beyond a PG, and it's nice to hear that I'm not the only one who likes stories that are less explicit (though I do read those too, for sure). But yes, the real affection is more appealing to me than just the physical relationship.

Thank you, aka! Self-insertion fics are an interesting thing - on the one had, easy to write, since it's all about something I know, on the other, hard to write, because they're revealing in a way other fic isn't.

Thanks, luz! IWC is a *very* cool chorus - I'm excited for rehearsals to start again this weekend. We work hard, but we definitely have a lot of fun, too.

And no, I don't think we ever did any singing at BP (other than shouting along with songs at the dance party).
