Oh, man! This is awesome! I really loved the AU and this is such a perfect piece to go with it. I love the language and the emotion and the imagery - just beautiful.

Wow. Okay, so I read this, loved it, and had to go back and reread the other story. But I wanted to comment here as well, because this is a really incredible look at Victoria - dark, and tough, and gorgeous. I kind of adore her here, which is a thing not many fics can pull off for me. And the last line packs such a punch.

Yay! This makes me so happy :) The whole idea behind this poem was to give her a bit of vindication after the rough treatment I gave her in the Fraser-centric.

Thank you so much for commmenting!

Yay, you posted! And I still love this so much. I got tears in my eyes when I read the opening parts about Victoria.

Oh, this is BRILLIANT. Victoria's very canonical rage shines through, and her lust to be free of all the things that would chain her down.

Could I record a podfic version?

Hi! Thank you!

Sorry it took me so long to respond - this comment slipped past me, somehow. But I am thrilled that you liked it, and I would be absolutely thrilled (!) to hear this podficced, if you're still interested in doing it :)
