Thank you everyone who participated in this challenge.

We had thirteen wonderful stories from sageness, akamine_chan, bertybertle, aingeal8c, keerawa, grey853, primroseburrows, bonspiel, leafy22, tharist, mickeymvt, akite and myself.

Huge thanks also to the_antichris, who co-modded the challenge with me, and to sageness and china_shop, who provided invaluable advice.

Thank you for all your work setting up the prompts and all. It was fun.

Best prompt ever, but a prompt that deserves longfic. Maybe that's universal? Because these are news stories, and so there are more substantial stories there than for a typical three-word prompt... It makes me wonder if it would make sense to have a longfic version and a shortfic version of the challenge. Or if that would be too complicated...

I think Feb, May, or August would all be good times for a Round 2. :)

Ugh, I ran into the same problem with mine - it kept wanting to turn into an epic, and I didn't have the time to devote to it. I did get an extension from our lovely mods (I hope that's still good, guys! *waves*) but...yes. This challenge kinda cries out for longfic.
